Services & Activities
The Office of Academic Advocacy (OAA) is dedicated to serving undergraduate èßäÊÓÆµapps in their pursuit of timely progression to graduation. Advocates individually with èßäÊÓÆµapps in academic distress to review their options, and collaborate with academic departments, colleges and èßäÊÓÆµapp personnel to improve retention and progression to graduation.
The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides tutoring, writing assistance, and a SMART Lab designed to provide hands-on learning for STEM related coursework.
Office of Transfer Student Success
Advisors meet with èßäÊÓÆµapps from community and state colleges to advise èßäÊÓÆµapps on USF undergraduate programs, explain program requirements, policies, procedures, transfer application, and more.
Provides specialized programs and services to veterans, eligible dependents, active duty service members and the Selected Reserves on campus. The office helps veterans in whatever capacity necessary to achieve their academic and career goals.
Provides every incoming èßäÊÓÆµapp the resources to be successful, excellent customer service and knowledge about the èßäÊÓÆµapp. Programing has been developed for first year èßäÊÓÆµapps, transfer èßäÊÓÆµapps, international èßäÊÓÆµapps and their families.
The Student-Athlete Enrichment Center (SAEC) provides services, programming, and guidance that is èßäÊÓÆµapp-athlete centered and fosters academic success.
Office of High-Impact Practices & Undergraduate Research
High-impact practices (HIPs) are active learning practices that encourage deep learning by promoting èßäÊÓÆµapp engagement. The Office of High Impact Practices and Undergraduate Research (HIPUR) seeks to connect èßäÊÓÆµapps with high-impact practices and support faculty wishing to expand the use of HIPs in their courses.
Air Force, Army, and Navy ROTC
These three military divisions have Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs at USF which gives èßäÊÓÆµapps the opportunity to become commissioned officers upon graduation.
