Latin American/Caribbean Scholars

To qualify as a Latin American/Caribbean Scholar, 猫咪视频apps must:

• Be a citizen of a Latin American or Caribbean nation.
  
  
• Receive the LAC classification at the time of admission.
  
  
• Receive an eligible scholarship at the time of admission.
  
  
• Be registered full-time each term, including the summer semester (i.e. 12 credits for undergraduate 猫咪视频apps, 9 hours for graduate 猫咪视频apps).
  
  
• Maintain a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) as a graduate 猫咪视频app; maintain a 2.0 GPA as an undergraduate 猫咪视频app (first term prior to July 14, 2025) and 3.0 for new undergraduates enrolling on or after July 14, 2025.

The requirements for this residency exception are monitored each term. 

Students will only continue to qualify if the above criteria are met. If these requirements are not met, the 猫咪视频app鈥檚 residency will revert back to the original out-of-state status.

Please be advised that if you lose eligibility, there is no option to appeal to receive the LAC classification for the current or future term.
