Fall '25 semester:
Thursday, August 28- AI (Financial Literacy):
While many AI tools are designed to help teachers save time and streamline tasks, the true potential of AI lies in how it can directly support èƵapp learning.
In this session, we’ll explore how to create your own custom AI Assistants—trained on your specific course materials, readings, standards, and objectives. These assistants can be tailored to align with your content, lessons, class dynamics, or even individual èƵapp needs.
Whether used as tutors, discussion partners, content generators, or instructional aides, these tools offer powerful ways to differentiate instruction and provide personalized support—ensuring that every èƵapp stays engaged and on track.
Join us to discover how èƵapp-facing AI can help you transform your classroom into a more adaptive, inclusive, and future-ready learning environment.
Tuesday, September 9- Fraud (Financial Literacy)
Tuesday, September 16- Artificial Intelligence 2:
"AI: Your Mind & The Machine” is a traveling exhibit designed to help èƵapps—and the educators who guide them—understand the growing impact of artificial intelligence in our daily lives.
In this hands-on workshop, participants explore how AI works through a series of tactile learning tools, including sliders, blocks, cylinders, puzzles, and clipboards. Touchscreens complement these physical interactives, offering opportunities to observe how AI systems learn, make decisions, and adapt to new information.
The exhibit features engaging, real-world examples—from optical illusions that challenge computer perception to machines that recognize environments and translate languages—making complex concepts accessible and relevant to èƵapps of all levels.
Teachers will gain insights into how AI connects to core curriculum topics such as critical thinking, problem-solving, technology, and ethics. The exhibit also highlights how human intelligence and machine learning are beginning to work together—and how this collaboration will shape the future of learning and work.
This workshop equips educators with both inspiration and concrete examples to bring back to the classroom, encouraging èƵapps to think critically about the role of AI in their world.
