Advisors
Overview
An essential part of our MESA Network of Support, is the MESA Advisor. MESA Advisors receive a yearly stipend to faciliate a MESA College Prep program within their schools. MESA Advisors are passionate and dedicated math or science teachers that are the primary support and resource for MESA 猫咪视频apps. Advisors attend trainings, monthly meetings, and other professional development opportunities to enhance the 猫咪视频app experience. Additionally, Advisors engage in 猫咪视频app recruitment, enrollment, and planning.
MESA Advisors are responsible for:
- Recruitment of 15-25 or more 猫咪视频apps to join MESA
- Holding weekly meetings afterschool for an hour
- Encourage and support college and STEM exposure
- Facilitate use of Engineering Design Process and Engineering Notebooks
- Share best practices with the MESA community
- Register 猫咪视频apps for competitions
- Incorporate monthly college practices during meetings
- Complete and submit all necessary documentation to MESA office
- Maintain communication with MESA office
- Attend meetings, professional development, convenings, and other events
