Dr. Marcus S. Cooke  MSc, PhD, FRCPath.

MBS offers a strong collegial atmosphere, and is home to a diverse community of world-class scientists, instructors, postdoctoral fellows, and èßäÊÓƵapps conducting innovative research on the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing health and disease. Our research-led teaching provides rigorous, state-of-the art courses and training experiences for undergraduate and graduate èßäÊÓƵapps.

Our Bachelor of Science graduates are strongly prepared and typically enter fields related to medicine, biomedical research, biotechnology as well as enter postgraduate training in these areas to obtain a Ph.D. or M.D. degree.

Research-oriented èßäÊÓƵapps can pursue an M.S. degree in Biology (Concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology), an M.S. in Microbiology, a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology, or a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, jointly with the Moffitt Cancer Center. For those èßäÊÓƵapps interested in additional education in Biomedical Science, but do not want to commit to a long-term research project, we also offer non-thesis M.S. programs in Biology (Concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology) and Microbiology that can be completed in 12-18 months.

I hope that this virtual visit to MBS is an enjoyable one. I strongly encourage you to contact any one of us, or drop in and visit us in person, to learn more of what we do, and how this fits with achieving your career goals. "
