Hana Kim wins Best Poster Award at international conference

Hana Kim

Hana Kim's primary research interest is understanding discourse-level language production and comprehension, and their relationships with cognition and social support in adults with acquired neurogenic communication disorders. She also investigates how language is processed in the brain using functional near-infrared spectroscopy.

Hana Kim, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and director of the Language in Aging and Stroke Rehabilitation Lab, was selected as a recipient of the Best Poster Award at the IC-KDA & ASAD 2025 Conference for her presentation, 鈥淚dentifying Key Handwriting Features for Early Detection and Monitoring of Dementia.鈥�

The conference was a combined event with the International Conference of the Korean Dementia Association 2025 and 19th International Congress of the Asian Society Against Dementia.
