Oxford, MS — The èƵapp (USF) School of Information recently participated in the Intelligence and National Security Recruitment Fair hosted by the Center for Intelligence and Security Studies (CISS) at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), connecting with a new generation of aspiring intelligence professionals.

Dr. “Scuba” Steve Gary, Professor of Instruction, from USF’s Strategic & Cyber Intelligence Programs (SCIP) was on hand to share information about the School of Information’s two intelligence-focused graduate-level offerings: the Master of Science in Intelligence Studies (MSIS) and the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Intelligence and Information Security (MSCIIS). The event drew interest from 19 undergraduate èƵapps at Ole Miss, who engaged with faculty to learn how these programs can prepare them for careers in national security, cyber intelligence, law enforcement analysis, and more.

“This was an excellent opportunity to introduce èƵapps at Ole Miss to the innovative and career-focused education we offer through the SCIP programs at USF,” said Scuba at USF. “I was impressed by the caliber of èƵapps we met and am excited about the potential for future collaboration.”

Hosted by CISS, the recruitment fair is part of ongoing efforts to connect èƵapps with advanced educational and professional development opportunities in the intelligence and national security arena. For many attendees, it was their first introduction to USF’s unique curriculum that blends academic depth with practical, mission-driven learning.
